Rose Wine Slushie

Wine Slushie finished

Summer isn’t over yet! There’s still plenty of time to enjoy the sunshine and drink these delicious Rosé wine slushies. They’re the perfect mix behind a childhood favorite (slurpees!) and an adult favorite – Rosé! They are worth the time it takes to wait for them to freeze.
ingredients for Wine sluhie

You’ll need:

  • 1 bottle of Rosé
  • 1 bottle of Limoncello
  • 1 large basket of strawberries
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • A blender

Cut the stems off the strawberries and load them into the blender.

adding Wine to blender

Add the Rosé to the blender. Depending upon the size of your blender the entire bottle of wine may not fit. I added about 3/4 of the bottle. Then add 1/3 cup limoncello.

Wine and strawberries blended

Blend the ingredients together until the strawberries are blended thoroughly and in very small chunks.

Add the mix to a bowl and freeze for 2 hours. (Here’s where the patience comes into play!) It does not need to be completely solid.

sugar

After 2 hours, place the contents back into the blender and add the sugar. Pulse until it is blended thoroughly. Last step! Pour into glasses and I promise you won’t be able to stop drinking these delicious slushies. (I couldn’t put mine down!)
